HR&BP APP

HR&BP

There is a growing problem in society today, no pun intended. Americans are becoming more obese everyday. US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that one third of adults and one sixth of children are obese and by the year 2030, 42 percent of the American will be obese. So what can we do that may reverse our fate?

Increasing physical activity and monitoring and working within Heart Rate and Blood Pressure guidelines are some of the ways that we can combat obesity. Download the HR&BP app. This app allows you to take your heart rate and blood pressure just by holding your mobile device up to your chest. You will create an account where you provide height, weight, and dietary habits. Once you have provided sufficient information, you may hold your mobile device to your chest to receive a digital display of your heart rate and blood pressure. The app will then give you a schedule of your weekly workouts and what heart rate you should keep your heart at while working out. If you are not exercising proficiently, your mobile device will give you a warning.

Obesity is very relevant in our world today and we need to change our habits in order to live a more successful and healthy life. Just take one step at a time and download the HR&BP app!

  2. Very interesting and unique idea. I think that we need an easy and convenient way to stay on top of our dietary and fitness habits that matches our fast pace lifestyle. While you may be able to monitor heart rate through some kind of device you put around your phone it would be very hard to measure blood pressure. If you can make it work could be a very unique idea.

  3. Honestly, I really like your idea~I always need to care and worry about obeseness. The heart rate testing on the treadmill is mostly not accurate, and it is not possible that I go to a health center or doctors to measure my heart rate or anything frequently. If I have this app, it will be easy and convenient for me to keep myself on track of say bye to obeseness!

  4. I agree with you on how unhealthy our society has become. People definitely need to become more aware of what is going on with one’s body, I actually created something to try and help this problem as well with my entrepreneurial idea. I like that your app will monitor heart rate and blood pressure and I know I personally can benefit from this because with my genetic history those are two things I need to watch closely and pay attention to.

  5. I've always been for healthy lifestyles and this app seems like a great step in helping people find an easy way to staying healthy. A lot of the times, people have difficulty monitoring their health because they don't know exactly how to do it. If this app is successfully implemented, it would be like having a personal trainer helping you make your health conditions aware to you.
