HR&BP is an
app that allows its users to track their heart rates and blood pressures. You
will create an account where you provide height, weight, and dietary habits.
Once you have provided sufficient information, you may hold your mobile device
to your chest to receive a digital display of your heart rate and blood
pressure. The app will then give you a schedule of your weekly workouts and
what heart rate you should keep your heart at while working out. If you are not
exercising proficiently, your mobile device will give you a warning.
I don’t think my
idea has evolved since I first created it. There are certain parts of my idea
that have developed. I have to say how to organize the data that my app will
have to process will be more efficient and more. From all of the subjects we
have learned in class, all of the material we have learned relates to my app.
With the growing
problem of obesity in our world today, I think my app will become a reality. There
are so many apps and gadgets that already promote a healthier life style, so
maybe my app could combine with another product that already exists, but I do
think my app could make a difference in the world today.
To make this idea
a reality, there is one problem. It is not possible to just hold your phone up
to your heart and receive your heart rate and blood pressure results. You need
another gadget that can detect it. For example, Nike has a fuel band. My app
could use similar technology.
Once that is
developed, you develop the program and you would be all set to go! I believe
this app could go very far because it is very relevant to society today!
